SMP or linear power supply?

I have installed CCTV cameras and need to buy food for 9V 500mA power it, the cameras are working 24 hours a day, so please let me know so that food is the best linear or SMP source of supply for continuous work.

Why not have a sound recording during playback of a video security camera

I had some problems in my house if I have a security camera outside and I can record what happens when I'm at work. When I play still no sound. I have an older TV is not ready for cable, I am using an RF modulator. The device is equipped with RCA connectors, I yellow in the video in the VCR and audio in white on the RF modulator. Red is only used when the camera comes with a monitor, which not yet, so the red cap is used to connect to power. I have a TV coaxial cable to the "output" VCR. I can hear the sound when playing a video tape that I bought at the store, but when you play the tape in the camera. I hope be properly explained and for someone to help me. The reason you want the sound is because at night you can not really see anything, so I can tell by the sound if no one was Messing around my house.

Are you sure that records audio surveillance camera? If after a period of time is almost certainly not. two ways the sound is recorded on a videotape. either in a mono recording on a track, or stereo, where sound is intelaced with entries video.Try change stereo RCA around. I just installed a GeForce 8800GT in my computer and during installation that connects the "Y" shaped cord with two of my power to 4-pin connectors. The card has worked very well and there is no real problem, but I just wanted to know if I should use one or two 4-pin power ends. Thank you in advance!

You need both. I would put not a second term four-pin connector if it was not necessary. If only one is needed, then just put aa pin connector on the back. However, there is a 6-pin connector, in order that the needs of both.
