Dome Dvr Camera
Moving a surveillance camera?
Moved CCTV dome camera from one room to another, and now I can not make it work. All I have done is stalled and reconnected the cables. It is not be displayed on the monitor, but the other seven do. What have I done wrong? This is a three-wire hook-up (red, black, and video). There no power of red and black, as checked with a multimeter. Everything is running through a DVR Speco. Is there something I'm on the DVR to set the device to work? Red and black are the power of the camera and not RCA. Also check the connection at both ends and no power at both ends. I think it may be a software problem on the DVR. I do not know how to solve it.
It sounds more Well Well, let the touching red and black wire or short circuit. Find a fuse that protects cables in particular. A fuse can be mounted near cables that connect to the computer, but may also internal.
